Senior Verification Engineer

Location: to be determined

Your mission:

You will join the R&D team under the responsibility of the Director of Engineering and Verification Team Leader, your mission will be to:

  • Guaranty RTL designs are matching specifications and requirements
  • Define and implement verification plans and test plans to ensure the designs meet quality and performance goals
  • Build and maintain automated verification environments
  • Collaborates and communicates with management regarding verification status, project progress, and issue resolution
  • Provide customer level 3 technical support for the implemented design
  • Provide guidance and mentoring to less experienced staff members
  • Provide proper and comprehensive documentation for the usage and the architecture of the verification environments as well as reports for the verification results
  • Contribute to technical directions on all aspects of the verification domain

Skills requirement:

  • Verilog, System Verilog
  • Verification EDA tools, Verification methodologies, Verification IPs
  • Data management and version control systems
  • Automation servers and continuous integration
  • Proficiency in programming and/or scripting languages (Python, Cshell…)
  • Knowledge on High speed interface protocols (PCIe, Gen-Z …), Serdes and PHY PMA
  • Background in digital circuitry or hardware logic design

IP Sales Engineer

Location: San Jose, CA, USA

Your mission: 

Assist VP Sales, drive territory customers’ relationships and PLDA resources to close licensing deals and maximize revenue for short and long term.

  • Develop deep understanding of accounts, buy-in decision factors, application(s) and roadmap.
  • Develop in depth relationship with key contributors at the accounts.
  • Derive and implement the strategy to win the accounts; execute and enhance PLDA sales methodology.
  • Enhance value of each opportunity, invest for the long term.
  • Drive sales operations: Customer meetings, pricing discussions, contract negotiations, executive involvement, technical support and FAE actions.
  • Manage the sales funnel / pipeline, develop success metrics and effective use of CRM tool.
  • Assist VP Sales with some of the activity in Asia (other than China) and EMEA.

Skills requirement: 

  • Outstanding team spirit and strong communication skills to operate in PLDA global/multicultural environment.
  • Fruitful interactions with PLDA Executive Management, Marketing, R&D and Application & Support teams.
  • Passion, positive attitude, coaching and leadership abilities and loves to travel.

Your profile:

  • 1-3 years of successful Sales experience, focusing on IP sales for ASICs and FPGAs.
  • Track record as part of high-performance sales operations.
  • The role requires working closely with distributors and reps in Asia (except China) and EMEA.
  • Minimum qualification is a bachelor’s in electrical, Electronics or Computer Engineering, and 1-2 years Sales experience.

ASIC Architect

Location: to be determined

Your mission: 

You will join the R&D team under the responsibility of the Design Team Manager, your mission will
be to:

  • Define architecture and implement RTL design in accordance with specifications and
    requirements
  • Collaborates and communicates with management regarding design status, project progress,
    and issue resolution
  • Ensures the designs meet quality, performance, schedule, and cost goals
  • Provide customer level 3 technical support for the implemented design
  • Provide guidance and mentoring to less experienced staff members
  • Provide proper documentation of design architecture and definition, and support for the final
    product documentation

Skills requirement: 

  • ASIC and FPGA design flow
  • Verilog logic design
  • Proficiency in programming and/or scripting languages (Python, Cshell…)
  • Knowledge on High speed interface protocols, High Speed Serdes and PHY PMA
  • Good English skills, communication skills, and willingness to work with an international
    team
  • High speed interface protocols (PCIe, Gen-Z …)
  • High performance computing system, processor, cache coherency, chipset and ASICs

Verification & Design Engineer

Location: Sofia, Bulgaria

Your mission: 

You will join our "Advanced Design & Integration" (ADI) team, your mission will be:

  • Verilog RTL design in order to integrate different IPs together such as PCIe IP with vendor
    PHY module
  • Verifying the IP integration with dedicated simulation environment
  • Development and support test cases of different verification environments
  • Support worldwide customers on the IP integration
  • Get familiar to existing verification process, propose improvements
  • Maintain the traceability from the customer specification or the product specification to the
    architecture and verification results
  • Track and maintain verification productivity metrics
  • Reporting periodically on progress and difficulties

  • 3+ years experience in multinational company
  • Experience with creating documentation, Python, Shell, etc.

Legal Officer for International Customer Contracts

Location: Aix-en-Provence, France

Your mission: 

Working within the sales department, you will be responsible for providing legal advice and support to
Executive Management and the President of PLDA, as well as being responsible for the implementation
of the company's commercial contracts.

In this context, your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the entire lifecycle of contracts: preliminary versions, management and negotiation of
    the contents with customers, establishing the definitive versions, and supervising the signature
    cycle
  • Monitoring and optimizing the process in its entirety, ensuring its execution in the shortest
    possible time and with the greatest precision to safeguard the interests of PLDA

PLDA covers a global market, so contracts will be concluded with customers worldwide.

Your profile and skills:

  • Masters or equivalent degree in commercial law/intellectual property
  • A business school degree and/or sales experience would be appreciated
  • 5 to 8 years minimum of experience in similar job in an international environment is mandatory
  • Experience in a high-tech environment would be appreciated
  • Knowledge of licensing agreements related to the sale of intellectual property blocks
  • Knowledge of the day-to-day activities of a paralegal office
  • Knowledge of international taxation systems
  • Fluent in English and French with excellent writing, negotiation, and written and verbal
    communication skills in both languages
