Internship Project Title:

FPGA implementation and testing of an innovative high-speed interface

Description

PLDA's R&D department is developing a new soft IP based on the Gen-Z protocol. Gen-Z is an innovative high-speed interconnect protocol. You will be in charge of designing an FPGA-based logic application to demonstrate the functionalities and performances of the new Gen-Z soft-IP.

This mission involves:

  • Gen-Z protocol study
  • Design and verification of a Gen-Z application
  • Design implementation on FPGA
  • Testing, analysis and optimization

Essential skills in the following areas:

  • FPGA
  • Verilog
  • System Verilog
  • Python
  • Logic Simulator

Description:

PLDA's R&D department has developed a new DMA soft IP, called vDMA. This IP is dedicated to virtualization and  supports a high number of simultaneous data exchanges. You will be in charge of designing an FPGA-based logic application to demonstrate the functionalities and performances of the vDMA.

This mission involves:

  • Many-channel DMA study
  • Design and verification of a many-channel DMA application
  • Design implementation on FPGA
  • Testing, analysis and optimization

You have skills in the following areas:

  • FPGA
  • Verilog
  • System Verilog
  • Python
  • Logic Simulator
